Steve has recently joined Oconomowoc Golf Club in 2018 and is looking forward to providing consistent playing conditions and standards on the course.  Steve started out caddying in 1993 and earned an Evans Caddie Scholarship to study at UW-Wisconsin-Madison.  Steve’s educational career includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Soil Science and Turfgrass Nutrition.  Steve has logged over 20+ years in turfgrass maintenance and follows a strong family lineage of golf course superintendents.  “I believe the quality of turf is a function of its utility, appearance, and its playability”.

Chuck started his head professional career at River Wilderness Yacht and Country Club, Bradenton, Florida in the late 1980’s, where he was introduced to and immersed in the daily life of the PGA Tour by club tour professionals Paul Azinger and Andy Bean. He then returned to his native Wisconsin roots where he spent thirteen years as the head professional at the Lac La Belle Golf Club.  Chuck was hired as the Head Professional at the Oconomowoc Golf Club in 2009.

Through the years, Chuck has been recognized for his professional accomplishments by the Wisconsin PGA in numerous ways:  2016 WPGA Teacher of the Year; he received the WPGA Section Player Development Award in 2015 and was Merchandiser of the Year for private clubs in 2003.  Chuck has also earned PGA advanced certifications in Instruction, Player Development, Retail Operations and Management.

While in the Southwest Chapter of the PGA North Florida Section, he earned numerous awards:  Horton Smith Award 1991 and 1992 for contributions in education and Golf Professional of the Year Award in 1994.
